zigzag turned fourteen on August 2nd, and we almost let the date slip by!

It's been a packed few weeks around the studio, but a birthday like this deserves a proper nod.

To mark it, one of our founders Siniz built something small along the way: the Textcloud Generator, a quick experiment in vibe coding. The idea is deliberately simple, take the skeleton of the number “14” and fill it with image particles from zigzag's history.

Reflecting on the milestone, Siniz shared a few thoughts on how the work itself has changed, and hasn't:

"This new way of working still swings between amazement and frustration. A prompt or two gets you sixty, seventy percent there, and that rush is real. Finishing the rest takes hundreds of small fights with a tool that won't quite listen.

Which is, oddly, the same lesson as fourteen years of zigzag, or even twenty-six years since my first job: everything has changed, nothing fundamental has. Framing, diverging, converging: the process holds, only the tools and the details keep shifting under it."
